Skill level – Beginners/some experience.
During this relaxed and informal evening you will learn new skills to make your very own personalised sterling silver bangle. The course covers a range of basic silversmithing techniques and is a fantastic introduction to working with silver. Making three charms for your bangle, you will be experimenting with surface finishes, metal stamping and simple granulation.
Skills you will learn
- How to size a bangle
- How to saw, cut and solder
- Simple granulation techniques
- How to polish your jewellery to create a professional finish
Please note: sensible clothing to be worn including, closed toe shoes, legs must be covered no wide armed sleeves and hair tied back. Aprons will be provided along with safety glasses. If you wear reading glasses please bring them. Any other question on what is suitable please get in touch.
What is included in the price?
We will provide all the equipment and sterling silver you need to make your bangle.
Drinks and nibbles will also be available. If you have an allergies or dietary requirements please get in touch prior to the workshop date.
